Not Worth Carrying

One angry comment can trouble you for days, an insult can crease your self-esteem, and an upsetting opinion may become hard to shake-off.

You may take all of that personally and think it’s about you. The resulting thoughts can even weigh you down, put a slight crack in your otherwise positive outlook.

But, the burden that you carry is often rarely a consequence of your faults, since it stems from others’ insecurities, frustrations, incapability, and lack of kindness.

It’s not worth carrying.

For a simple explanation, think whether you should blame yourself when people are having a bad day and they scream at you?

Sooner or later, you learn that a lot of that stuff isn’t about you, and you can let go of unnecessary blame that you take up.
