People are everywhere. But not all of them matter. The crowd creates an illusion that perhaps you’ve found a place where you belong.
We have our acquaintances and contacts. They chat, snack, and chuckle together. They flock together quickly and disperse quickly.
Yet, the charm of a huge company seems irresistible. Between all the exchange of smiles and banter you’re tempted to feel that, perhaps, it’s the company that matters.
But the crowd is like the sea
It seems comforting. It has a certain magnetism. Yet, it barely satiates our craving for affection. It fails at filling the void inside us.
No matter how immense and full, the crowd can’t satisfy your thirst. You’re better off sticking with a few loyal and loved ones instead.
A few are enough.
