When We Tell Others What Matters to Us

Words often turn into a kind of soliloquy, because the things that we say to others are usually what we had been dying to tell ourselves.

And I’ve noticed that when I say something, it also speaks a lot about me.

What comes out of my mouth is also what I had been holding in my heart, probably for too long. So, it’s also not only for others to listen to but also for me – to understand. It’s a reflection of all the chaos that I hold within.

The simple act of talking can be so, so powerful.
